Stoney Creek’s Ash Bowers Discovers Opening Up For Jason Aldean’s “Wide Open” Tour is a Real ‘Blow-out’

Nashville, TN (February 1, 2010) Stoney Creek Records' Ash Bowers opened up for a packed crowd, Thursday, Jan 28, in Cedar Park, TX, as part of Jason Aldean's “Wide Open” tour. On the way to his next performance in Beaumont, TX, Bowers and his band experienced a blow-out at 2:00 a.m.

“All of a sudden we heard this loud noise and the car started to swerve. It was a scary way to wake up after a great performance that night at the Cedar Park Center,” explains Bowers. “It's hard to change a tire at 2:00 a.m. in the morning, but I guess it's all part of the gig.”

About 30 minutes later and just five minutes outside of their next stop on the tour in Beaumont, TX, Bowers and his crew were pulled over due to “suspicious driving.”

“I don't blame the policemen for pulling us over. After all, we were having a hard time driving straight with our little donut tire and it was really early in the morning,” says Bowers. “But once we explained our situation, he was cool and he let us go.”

Ash Bowers is opening up for 22 dates on Jason Aldean's “Wide Open” Tour and his new single, “Ain't No Stopping Her Now,” has recently been shipped to radio.
