Nashville, TN (May 11, 2010) — Stoney Creek Records new duo Thompson Square’s debut single, “Let’s Fight,” is an ode to friendly marital spats—and the ensuing reconciliations. The powerful husband-and-wife- duo’s clever lyrics and unmatched harmonies create a unique sound that is sure to be a breath of fresh air for radio.

“Let’s Fight,” co-written by Thompson Square’s Keifer Thompson, is a catchy up-tempo song that easily wins the fight for listeners’ attention. “Because Shawna and I get along so well, it’s hard to write sad songs about love lost when you’re not experiencing it,” says Keifer. “But I thought it’d be cool to write a song saying, let’s fight and get things stirred up … and then make up!”

Thompson Square was born several years ago when Oklahoma-born Keifer and Alabama native Shawna each set aside promising solo careers to join forces as a duo. Their debut single, “Let’s Fight,” is a blend of the couple’s country and rock influences, that creates a fun-loving and original sound.

Thompson Square has been touring and visiting radio stations nationwide in support of their new single. Fans can catch a live performance in Bristow, VA at Jiffy Lube Live as part of Brooks & Dunn’s Last Rodeo Tour on June 19.
