STONEY CREEK RECORDS SIGNS RANDY HOUSER

“Anything Goes” and “Boots On” Hit-Maker Joins Roster of Broken Bow Records’ Sister Imprint Label

New Music Expected in Early 2012

Nashville, Tenn. (Monday, November 14, 2011) – Independent record label Stoney Creek Records is proud to announce the addition of ACM, CMA and CMT awards nominee Randy Houser to its label roster.

Houser joins a thriving roster of talent and brings his hit-making history to a label of team members brimming with creativity.

The signing was unveiled during a surprise announcement at the Broken Bow/ Stoney Creek Records CMA Pre-Party last Tuesday at the Hard Rock Café in Nashville. Broken Bow/ Stoney Creek President Benny Brown and Senior VP of Operations Rick Shedd made the announcement, surprising the room of media and industry VIPs, as they introduced Randy Houser to the stage as the newest member of the Stoney Creek family. Houser then performed a soulful, roof-raising set for the standing room-only crowd.

“I’ve been a fan of Randy’s music for a long time and he has the talent to deliver a song like few others,” said Benny Brown, President & CEO of Broken Bow / Stoney Creek Records. “We are looking forward to getting started in the studio with him right away. He is a great addition to our roster.”

Effective immediately, Houser will go into the studio under the deal to work on new music for a forthcoming 2012 album release. Houser’s first single with Stoney Creek Records will be released in early 2012.

“It's an honor to be working with Stoney Creek Records,” Houser told the room of industry VIPs. “This team is such an all-star cast of proven industry veterans, that have had incredible recent success with the breakout of Thompson Square and, of course, building the mega-success of Jason Aldean. I’m incredibly proud to be the newest member of the Stoney Creek/ Broken Bow family.”

Founded in March 2009 by CEO/President Benny Brown, Stoney Creek Records is a continuation of the passion and determination that spawned the success of sister imprint, Broken Bow Records (Jason Aldean, Blake Wise, James Wesley, Kristy Lee Cook, Dustin Lynch). In an effort to tap into the high level of extremely talented unsigned artists within the Nashville music community, Brown has worked to establish a roster that reflects his commitment to excellence.
