NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 23, 2013) – Hot on the heels of back-to-back No. 1 smash hits “How Country Feels” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” Stoney Creek recording artist Randy Houser releases his third single today from his 2013 release, How Country Feels, the seductively smooth “Goodnight Kiss.” Houser is a co-writer on the song, along with Rob Hatch and Jason Sellers.

The predecessor to “Kiss” – the up-tempo summer sizzler “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” – recently became Houser’s first platinum single and spent two weeks at the top of the charts.

“On the same day that I found the songs ‘Top Of The World’ and ‘Runnin’ Outta Moonlight’ (the day before the last day of recording this record), we wrote ‘Goodnight Kiss,’” says Houser. “We all remember those dates when we’d pick up the girl and pretty much we’d have to go through the whole routine of the movie, and the dinner, and riding around, and all… all before we could ever get to the goodnight kiss. I finally had the epiphany that you can start with the goodnight kiss and just really never go do any of that other stuff, and I thought well hell, nobody’s ever written about that yet! So Rob, Jason and I started writing it, and we had a blast. It was a good time.”

Taste of Country gives “Goodnight Kiss” a rave review noting, “Houser’s softer side comes through on this mid-tempo love song. He’s a confident, yet respectful country gentleman who knows how and when to show real vocal power. The heat begins to really radiate from the speakers with repeated listens” and GAC adds, “His easy rhythm over an odd 8/8-time signature further demonstrates the technical chops Randy possesses. And the fact he’s able to nestle such subtly complex shifts into a pop-laced love song drives home the notion that this is one of the genre’s best voices.”

Houser is currently performing headlining dates across the country and will join Justin Moore on the Off the Beaten Path Tour in November, along with Josh Thompson. Prior to “Goodnight Kiss,” Houser also leant his powerhouse vocals to the Kristy Lee Cook ballad, “Wherever Love Goes.” For more information and a complete touring schedule, please visit www.randyhouser.com.
