JASON ALDEAN DEBUTS “DROWNS THE WHISKEY” DURING TONIGHT’S SEASON FINALE OF THE VOICE

NASHVILLE, TN – May 22, 2018 – Three-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer Of The Year” Jason Aldean will make the television debut of his new single “Drowns the Whiskey” tonight during the season 13 finale of The Voice (5/22 on NBC at 9:00P ET). Joining the star-studded line-up including James Bay, Florence and the Machine, Halsey featuring Big Sean, Alicia Keys, Ryan Adams and Dua Lipa, Aldean will convey the saturated well-worn emotions of the lost love lament from the track dubbed a standout off his No. one album REARVIEW TOWN. “The contemporary honky-tonk track” (NPR) shows how Aldean “employs straightforward classic Country melodicism” (Rolling Stone) and follows his multi-week chart-topping hit “You Make It Easy,” which also serves as the first Country song released in 2018 to receive certification by the RIAA this year.

“Aldean has opted to not back down and continue working in the well-worn groove” (UPROXX) that has helped define the genre’s 21st century with his sure-footedness, which plays into more than 15 million total album sales, dozens of sold-out stadium shows and countless recognition from the GRAMMYs, ACMs, CMAs, BBMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more. Continuing that momentum, Aldean is only the second Country act in history to score four consecutive chart-toppers on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart with REARVIEW TOWN, with six of his previous LPs have achieved PLATINUM certification or better. Aldean’s wide-open approach has made him a perennial live-show favorite for the format as he has headlined the biggest stadiums in the United States. He continues to do so on his HIGH NOON NEON TOUR and “doesn’t waste any time ripping through 23 songs during his 95-minute set” (Des Moines Register), which will roll this weekend into Columbia, MD (5/24), Hartford, CT (5/25), Mansfield, MA (5/26) and Bangor, ME (5/27).
