GRANGER SMITH RELEASES COUNTRY THINGS, VOL. 2 THIS WEEK ON BLACK FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH

Granger Chatted Country Things, Vol 2 Yesterday on WSM’s Coffee, Country & Cody Show

Hurry! Less Than Two Weeks Until Granger Reveals the Five Lucky Winners to Win a Trip to the Yee Yee Farm for the Chance to Bring Home His Very Own Truck

This Black Friday, November 27,  Granger Smith is set to release the second half of his highly-anticipated 10th studio album, Country Things. This two-part album totals a sum of 16 tracks that give fans a glimpse of Granger and his family’s current country-state-of-mind. The physical full-length album hits shelves Monday, November 30th and is available for pre-order now. To promote the album, Granger Smith appeared yesterday on the legendary radio station WSM to discuss Country Things, Vol 2 on the Coffee, Country & Cody Show which aired live on WSM and Circle Network. With contributions from Granger’s good pal Earl Dibbles Jr., this album encapsulates Granger’s (and Earl’s) current outlook on life. Granger sought to capture the things that money and politics and status can’t buy.

Country Things is split into two parts but paints one whole picture. The full-length album is meant to be listened to like a rollercoaster ride. It has highs and lows and, in the end, leaves the listener satisfied. Country Things, Vol. 2 is the final loop of the rollercoaster ride with songs such as “6 String Stories” that Granger claims encapsulates his music life. It represents the story of what all his past albums mean to him and how important it’s been to put those ideas to melody over the last decade and a half of his career. Songs such as “Buy A Boy A Baseball” portray Granger’s passion to fatherhood while his song “Workaholics” is a new and different side of Earl Dibbles Jr. that shows evolution. The full album really showcases the man, the father, the performer, and bona fide artist Smith has become.

In addition to the announce of the album, Granger launched an unprecedented contest for fans to win a chance at bringing home his very own truck. Launched upon announce of Country Things, Vol. 2 on October 30, this contest will run until December 4 at 11:59pm CT. Five lucky fans will win a trip to the Yee Yee Farm in Texas and participate in a contest to win Granger’s truck. For every $1 spent on the Yee Yee Apparel website is an entry to the contest. One lucky winner will bring home the truck, while the others will receive mini prizes. Enter to win here: yeeyee.com/truckPlease note the terms exclude non-contiguous states Alaska and Hawaii.

The album and contest are just another layer of Smith’s multifaceted life. Smith has his own outdoor apparel company called Yee Yee Apparel in which they have been able to donate over $230,000 to various charities they feel passionate about with the revenue generated from this company. From his family YouTube show “The Smiths,” to well-known alter ego Earl Dibbles Jr., to his No. 1 book “If You’re City, If You’re Country,” to his Granger Smith Podcast, to his hero-honoring documentary “They Were There: A Hero’s Documentary,” to his work with The River Kelly Fundthe chart-topper continues to build a brand synonymous with those who cherish hard work and those who want to live life to its fullest.
