Hosting Stint Kicks Off Tonight at the Troubadour in West Hollywood

BMG comedian Byron Kennedy is set to host GRAMMY® nominee and reigning CMA New Artist of the Year & ACM New Male Artist of the Year Jimmie Allen’s sold-out show at the Troubadour tonight in West Hollywood. Following in the footsteps of comic greats Richard Pryor, Patton Oswalt and Sarah Silverman, who have also performed at the Troubadour, Kennedy will introduce Allen, his openers, and, of course, slay the crowd with bits of his comedian routine.
Hot off the heels of launching his new podcast “Hot Chicken & Cage-Free Conversation,” on which Allen is a featured guest, Kennedy will also host Allen’s sold-out show in San Diego on Friday, February 4 at Moonshine Flats and in Las Vegas on Saturday, February 5 at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country. Listen to Kennedy’s podcast episode with Allen HERE.
Declared the “Leonardo DaVinci of Radio” by broadcast legend Howard Stern, Kennedy was encouraged by friends and colleagues to remove himself from a highly successful career in radio and the music business to pursue his gift of comedy. His irreverent, observational style and natural storytelling flair immediately gelled with audiences across the nation, moving him quickly up the ladder from open mic nights to opening slots to feature gigs to multiple runs in Las Vegas to now hosting sold-out concerts.
Jumping into 2022 at full speed, Kennedy’s podcast launched this past Tuesday, February 1 and dropped episodes with Allen, Brett Eldredge and Lainey Wilson. Future episodes will drop every other week with special guests ranging from musical artists to industry power players, professional athletes, actors, fellow comedians and more.
